Conferences and events

ASC runs a programme of events throughout the year, ranging from conferences to social activities.

In most years, we present two one-day conferences on a specific topic, which are usually a combination of invited speakers and contributed papers, curated as a single stream. For most of these, we also have a small, accompanying exhibition of relevant software and service providers. These are usually held at Imperial College in London in April and September.

Every four years or so we host a so-called “International” conference, which is a multi-stream residential conference held over two or three days, with peer-reviewed papers published in a Conference Proceedings volume at or immediately after the event (and in these years we tend not to hold any one-day conferences). The most recent of these was our Bristol conference in 2011.

In intervening years, we occasionally hold other residential events, such as our recent methodology conference at Winchester University in September.

We offer several evening events to our members throughout the year, usually in London, and usually without charge.

Please select the event you are interested in from the menu in the sidebar on the left.

Here we summarise our own events and include some links to events from around the world relevant to technology in market and social research.
